Mitering Clean Edges

You can install the panels on any flat surface, including concrete and brick.

1. Although any woodworking tool can be used to cut these panels, a table saw with a simple panel cutting jig might give you the most accurate results. 2. First you make a straight cut to square off the panel. Cutting small amount off the edge should be sufficient. 3. Set table saw to a 45 degree angle.
     
4. After flipping the panel around 180 degrees, make a 45 degree cut. The cut should be made just to cut into the back of the panel, creating a perfect V. 5. Don't discard the small piece you just cut off. 6. Turning the panel around, make a reverse 45 degree angle cut, as close to the end of the panel as possible to keep the pattern matched as closely as you can.
     
7. Do a dry fit to ensure that the V-shaped strip miters nicely. 8. Use industrial-strength construction adhesive (available on the website) to glue the small V-shaped strip into place. 9. As an optional step, you can hold the strip in place with small brad nails while the glue is drying.
     
   
10. Give the glue 24 hours to dry before using.
